
The diagnosis of peripheral neuropathy usually requires the following[60]:
1. Physical examination: which may include blood tests.
2. A full medical history: symptoms, lifestyle, exposure to toxins, drinking habits, and family history of neurological diseases.
3. Neurological examination: tendon reflexes, muscle strength and tone, ability to feel certain sensations, posture and coordination.
