NUCLEOTIDES AND VITAMINS

What are nucleotides?

Nucleotides are building blocks of nucleic acids, DNA and RNA, which are essential for the growth and repair of nerve cells.

During nerve regeneration, damaged nerve cells need to rebuild and restore their structure and function. Nucleotides, as the building blocks of DNA and RNA, provide the necessary components needed for this process.1

Nucleotides are semi-essential nutrients. This means, that in certain situations, the body cannot make enough to meet demands and they must be obtained through the diet.1 As food sources are limited, meeting the required amounts through diet alone can be difficult.2By supplying an adequate amount of nucleotides through dietary supplements, the body has the necessary resources to support nerve regeneration and optimise the repair process.

The supply of neurotropic B complex vitamins contributes to the normal functioning of the nervous system

Vitamins are compounds that play a crucial role in various bodily functions. As humans are unable to produce B vitamins on their own, they must obtain an adequate supply from the diet[65].
